Call to Worship:

You are a God of powerful kindness!

You are a God of great joy and love!

We will shout your praise with all our hearts!

Help us to be open to your works 

With awe and wonder,

And ready to declare your greatness!

Confession and Lament:

When the circumstances of life cause us to forget, 

Lord, help us to see your power.

When we openly choose our own plan, thinking our path is safest,

Lord, help us to trust in your power.

When we scramble to pick up the pieces from our own failed striving,

Lord, help us to rest in your power.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

Glory, glory, Hallelujah!

We are sinners set free.

Thank you, Jesus, for your salvation.

We long to see the power of your resurrection in our lives.

It strengthens us in our weakness.

It conquers doubt and fear.

Lord, we thank you for your resurrection power!
