Call to Worship:
The Lord is our salvation,
The only sure thing in the unknown.
He is the beginning and the end.
We praise You, the Alpha and Omega!
Day by day we follow Him
And day by day He makes us new.
Praise the One who is working in us!
Confession and Lament
We confess that it is easier to do what is comfortable in the body of Christ.
At any sign of difficulty in community,
It is tempting to run.
Lord, make us faithful to you and to one another.
When we would rather hide than be known,
Graciously bring our sin to light.
Use those around us to draw us closer to you, O God.
Make us a people committed to walking in the Way.
Assurance of Gospel Peace:
Jesus carried a cross meant for death,
And through it, brought eternal life.
In that cross, we find peace.
In that cross, we find rescue and reconciliation.
As we carry our own cross,
We know that it isn’t in vain.
Every day that we do this,
We walk in the way of Jesus.
His way brings light to the world!
