Call to Worship:

He is risen!!

He is risen indeed!

Raise your head with hope,

and your heart with praise!

He is risen from the grave!

He breaks into the darkness with His light,

and He rules with justice and truth.

He is risen!

He is risen indeed!

Confession and Lament

Whatever we are holding onto instead of you

Cannot bear the heaviness of life for us.

Jesus, only you can save us. 

No other person,

No amount of money,

No level of control,

None of this can fully satisfy.

Jesus, only you can sustain us.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

This is the good news:

The light shines in the darkness,

And the darkness can never put it out.

This is the good news ― 

Once we were no people; 

Now, we are God’s people!

This is the good news:

Christ is our peace,

The peace we now share with one another!
