Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 27-30

Call to Worship:

The earth is full of the Glory of God!

And the stars, the moon, and every galaxy belong to him.

We praise you, Creator of all things!

You made all things,

Marking them with your perfection.

We are in awe of your greatness!

Confession and Lament

Lord, our hearts are quick to rebel and distrust.

When times are uncertain, we fail to look back 

And see the works of your hand.

Father, cause us to remember.

When the world seems chaotic and out of control

We try to grab hold of the reins, trying to hold our world together.

Father, help us to cast our cares on you.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

When we choose to believe in the promises of God, we find life.

Through the cross, we see your promises fulfilled.

When we choose to believe that you are enough, we find peace. 

Through the cross, we have been reconciled to you.

Nothing can separate us from your love;

We rest in your victory, Lord!
