Call to Worship:

Let us praise the Lord,

For he is worthy.

Our faithful Father, our defender -

He is our righteous king!

Let us worship the Lord,

For he is good.

His love endures forever.

He is worthy to be praised!

Confession and Lament:

Lord, your word calls us to obedience

And yet, we struggle to obey.

We find ourselves wrestling with our own strength,

Forgetting that it is you who carries us through each day.

Your words are more than rules to be followed,

Jesus, you are after our hearts. 

Forgive us when we fail to trust you.

Teach us to lean on you for wisdom and direction.

Help us to be led by your love.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

In Christ, the law is fulfilled. 

His perfect life of obedience

Made a way for our salvation.

By grace we have been saved!

We now have eternal life forever, 

Free to walk in obedience by faith.

Jesus, thank you for your salvation!
