Call to Worship:

Praise God who keeps His word!

Nothing that comes from His mouth returns void.

Our God is faithful and true!

Praise God, our hearts delight.

He has set joy on our faces!

He has set gladness in our hearts!

Our God is a wellspring of life!

Confession and Lament

We spend much of our lives doing the opposite of what we’re told.

Though we are fickle and we fail, 

You still show us grace, Lord.

Remind us to do the same.

We see injustice and deceit all around us.

Still, we shrink away with apathy

When You call for justice and truth.

Remind us to do the same, Lord.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

There are countless stories of your faithfulness

—

Let us never stop recounting them

Let us pass on those stories of hope.

You provide protection over your people

and bring peace where there is chaos.

Let us carry your hope and peace into a lost and searching world.
