Call to Worship:

We will sing of God’s love and justice

Let us praise his holy name together!

He extends his steadfast love to us through all generations

His ways are just and lead to life everlasting

Let us praise his holy name together!

Confession and Lament

Father, sometimes we let our traditions hold more weight than your commands.

Or, we let them take precedence over your perfect law. 

Help us to see that your commands are for our benefit and your Glory. 

When we forget what actually belongs in your kingdom,

When we try to make our own way,

Help us to write your law on our hearts.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

In Christ, God calls us righteous

And that is what we really are:

No longer slaves to sin but heirs with God 

In Christ, God calls us children of God.

And that is who we really are:

Sons and daughters, fully loved.
