Scripture Reading: Exodus 20:15 - Eighth Commandment

Call to Worship:

God of might and majesty,

Lord of all creation,

Giver of all good things,

Maker of heaven and earth

We have come to lift You high

We have come to praise Your name!

For all that You are

And all that You have done

Let us respond in worship to You!

Confession and Lament:

Lord, when we forget Your promises,

Help us remember that You are good and faithful.

When we try to solve our problems our way, apart from You,

Help us remember we can depend on You, because You are mighty to save.

When we make bad decisions out of fear, distrust, or selfishness,

Help us to run into Your open arms of grace.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

Let us praise the Lord for His great love!

And for the wonderful things He has done for us!

When we were spiritually poor and needy, 

Without hope and unable to save ourselves,

Jesus met us there, 

Offering Himself for us.

Now, we are united with Christ,

And blessed with every spiritual blessing!

Let us praise the Lord for His great love
