Call to Worship:

Blessed be the Lord, 

Who daily cares for his people!

You are sovereign over all creation.

Every good gift comes from you!

Jesus, you are our great Shepherd,

With us through the highs and lows.

You are our faithful provider!

Blessed be your name forever!

Confession and Lament:

We tend to forget time is not in our hands.

Lord, by your design, we do not know what tomorrow may bring.

When our minds feel the weight of anxiety, 

And we struggle to hold things we were never meant to carry, 

Lead us to your throne of grace.

Jesus, you are our daily bread.

You meet us in our everyday need,

Providing for even the smallest of requests.

No need we have is beyond your concern. 

Help us trust you one day at a time.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

Lord, our waiting is not in vain. 

You have come to save us, 

And you will come again to bring us home. 

May we be a people filled with wonder,

Rooted in the hope of Christ.

Jesus our Emmanuel, 

God with us - now and forevermore!
