Scripture Reading: Numbers 20:1-13

Call to Worship:

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;

let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.

Lord, we will worship You in the splendor of Your majesty!

Let us come before him with thanksgiving

and sing praises to his Holy Name.

Lord, we worship You, for you deserve our praise!

Confession and Lament:

Lord, forgive us. We often forget that we were dead in our sin.

We live our lives as though we are the champions of our own story,

We live as if there was no battle to be won.

But you are our champion, Lord. 

You have fought our biggest fight for us. 

Help us surrender every day to you.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

The Lord is compassionate and kind.

Even when we fail, God’s love never fails.

Where we were faithless, Christ’s grip on us was secure.

Thanks be to God! 

How he loves us!

Here and now, we are God’s children. 

Praise be to our Maker and King!
