Scripture Reading: Numbers 16-17

Call to Worship:

Praise the Almighty!

Blessed be his name!

His strength cannot be matched!

Worship the Redeemer!

He brings salvation into the hidden places!

His mercy lasts forever, amen! 

Confession and Lament:

Lord, we recognize the heaviness of the world around us.

It is too much for us to bear on our own.

Lord, we turn to you, our help in times of trouble.

It is easy to recognize a burden,

And even easier to do nothing about it.

Lord, help us to be your hands and feet

Help us to be a people marked by hope instead of hate. 

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

Praise God that we get to share in Christ’s victory over death. 

He has made a way for us! 

Thank God for his mercy towards us before we even knew his name.

He loves us unconditionally!

Because of his great love,

He has given us the Spirit,

For times of trouble and rejoicing.

We are secure in the hands of God!
