9.14.25

Sept 14, 2025 - Sunday Liturgy // Writer: Meg Williams

Scripture Reading: Exodus 25-30, 35-40 Tabernacle

Call to Worship:

Rejoice!

We are in the presence of the Lord!

The merciful one is here!

Rejoice!

Let us make music with our hearts

as we lift our voices!

Rejoice!

The God of all glory

Lives with his people!

Rejoice!

Confession and Lament:

Even though you go with us, we falter.

When we are tested,

Sometimes we feel like we can’t worship.

But worship reminds us of your mercy.

It is not only for times of joy,

but for times of anxiety, grief, and failure.

Fill us again with the peace of your presence!

In this we will know and others will see

that you bring a portion of your love and beauty in a

world that often brings injustice and pain.

You still go with us in faithful love.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

Neither our status, ethnicity, class, or income,

Nor our education, connections, gender, or size

Can change the love of Christ in our lives.

Nor our family, our health or wellbeing,

Nor our pains or blessings

Can change the love of Christ in our lives.

He lives with us with faithful love at all times.

He tabernacles among us!
