Call to Worship:

Praise God for his unfailing love!

He is the rock of ages -

Steadfast, unchanging and our eternal refuge.

We trust in your faithfulness!

Mighty God, you are with us always. 

Your promises remain true,

From now through eternity!

Confession and Lament:

Lord, we are often tempted to reminisce on past seasons,

Thinking our lives would be better if we could go back.

At times we assume your goodness has failed us,

Forgetting that it is you who provides for all our needs.

Forgive us of our lack of faith.

Open our eyes to the ways you are inviting us to trust you.

Help us to believe you have not left us behind.

Teach us what it looks like to trust you in all seasons.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

Father, you have already provided for our greatest need.

You sent your son Jesus to be our savior to rescue us from the power of sin.

Thank you for making a way for salvation!

Just as you led your people through the wilderness,

You sent your son to be Emmanuel, God with us. 

In the ordinary moments and on our hardest days, 

We can lean on your presence to sustain us.

Help us to walk faithfully with you for all of our days.
