Call to Worship:

Lord, we call out to You, asking You to dwell in this place with us. 

We lift our voices to sing of Your great name!

Lord Your faithfulness and goodness are above all things.
We praise You, Oh Mighty God of the universe! 

Fill us up with Your love as we intentionally seek You now.

Confession and Lament

We confess we are not always receptive to Your voice. 

Open our ears to hear and allow our minds to comprehend. 

We often choose to follow our own thoughts instead of Your simple truths.

Refine our motivations and ease our restless hearts as we learn to rely on You. 

Help us to believe again that Your ways are better than our own. 

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

Lord, You are the maker of all things in the heavens and on earth. 

You do not make mistakes and You are not deterred when we do. 

We are comforted by Your stability and lifted up by your strength!

In Jesus, You have given us the way to be close to You. 

Through His death and life, we have everlasting joy and peace.

You give us hope in Your gospel story and complete renewal in Your son!
