Scripture Reading: Leviticus 18-27

Call to Worship:

Who is the holiest of all?

Our gracious and mighty God!

We prepare our hearts to sing his praise!

His works are powerful and righteous

And his steadfast love endures forever!

We open our mouths to sing his praise!

Confession and Lament:

You guide us toward righteousness, but too often we turn aside.

Whether from pride, hurt, fear, or greed,

We wound our neighbors and act unjustly.

Forgive us for our selfish actions and lead us to repent.

When we have been wronged, teach us how to walk in it with Christ.

So that in coping and seeking justice,

We do not fall into traps of sin and bondage.

Teach us how to live righteously and to lead in the way of peace.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

No matter what we have lost,

No matter what we have ruined,

No matter what has been stolen—

The Lord has promised redemption!

Our inheritance in Christ cannot be lost.

Our riches in Christ cannot be ruined.

Our blessings in Christ cannot be stolen—

The Lord has promised to make all things new and right!
