Scripture Reading: Genesis 9:20-11:26

Call to Worship:
God of all peoples and languages,
Across all generations
you are worthy to be praised.
**Let us lift up our voice to our faithful God!**
God who opposes the proud

But gives grace to the humble,
**We praise your name above all other names!**

Confession and Lament:
Lord, there are times when you frustrate our plans. 

You intervene to humble our hearts
And open our blind eyes to see.
Your limits are for our good.
**Forgive us when we desire praise for ourselves
More than love and adoration for you.**

We often look to our homes, our income, or our status
in certain places to provide security for our souls;
**Lord, you, and you alone are our rock and our refuge.**
Tune our hearts to trust in you.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:
Jesus took on the curses of generations at the cross!

He made all people groups equal

And he calls them into his royal family.

He shows the nations a better way.
**We are one in Christ Jesus and

No country, ethnicity, race, or 

Gender is above another!**
