Scripture Reading: Genesis 7-8 [changed to 1 corinthians 12:12-26]

Call to Worship:

God of creation, you are King over all the earth. 

The skies pour forth your praise. 

From beginning to end, your words remain true. 

The earth belongs to the Lord! 

You are good and your judgments are true. 

Almighty God, you are faithful!

Confession and Lament

Father, it is easy to lose sight of you in the busyness of our days.

Forgive us when our hearts stray and our faith falls short; 

In the midst of unbelief, help us to heed your call to obedience - 

When it makes sense and when it doesn’t.

Help us to trust that you are good, 

Even if our circumstances try to tell us otherwise.

And even when those around us do not understand,

Help us to trust you - in chaos, in trials, and when life feels fragile.

Father, we believe that you are good; help our unbelief! 

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

Father, you remind us that our eternal home is with you.

We are forever secure in you because of the Son.

Jesus, you are our righteousness, our refuge, and our rest.

Your words and your works are true.  

So, we know that you are always with us, even now.

Holy Spirit, increase our faith to walk in obedience for all our days.
