Scripture Reading: Genesis 3:15-24

Call to Worship: 

Lord, You are the Great Creator! 

You are the Author and Illustrator of all life!

We are amazed at the work of Your hands!

Lord, You have made every good and beautiful thing. 

Hallelujah! You are a wonderful and powerful God! 

Confession and Lament:

When we become the masters of our own lives, 

we are the creators of our own problems. 

Our sin causes hardship and pain for us.

Apart from You, we are nothing. 

When we ask the world for help, 

We are left disappointed and dissatisfied. 

Our hope is in the wrong things.

Apart from You, we have nothing. 

We have left the garden ashamed and alone. 

In sin, our pursuit for healing is a dead end. 

Apart from You, we gain nothing. 

Forgive us and redeem us today. 

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

God sent his one and only, precious son to Earth.

Jesus became the perfect sacrificial lamb.

And He freed us from sin and death. 

We are free and saved forever! 

Jesus conquered death and rose from the grave. 

He is preparing a place for us to dwell with Him forever. 

We are free and saved forever!
