Call to Worship

Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord! He is good!

He is Lord over the grandest 

scenes and powers in this world!

Amen! God is mighty!

He comes near to the smallest scenes

and acts of people in this world, too,

and He is full of compassion.

Amen! God is kind!

Confession and Lament

We know You keep your promises, 

But it can be hard to endure a long wait.

God, You are outside of time, 

And yet You know that we are not.

Have compassion on us, Lord!

Holy Spirit, encourage us,

When our faith and hope feel thin!

When we struggle with circumstances,

The effects of sin around us, or sin within us.

You are still working, and you are near.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

When the world seems to keep going,

Regardless of our struggles and grief,

God meets us in each generation to do His work.

He loves this world and all who are in it.

He has proven His commitment to His creation

Ultimately through Jesus’s life, death, and rising!

In this, He gives each generation life, hope, and joy!

We now can love this world and all who are in it.
