Call to Worship
Praise the one who has given us the grace to gather here today!
Great and marvelous are your deeds,
Lord God Almighty.
Praise the one who corrects our steps and leads us to joy!
Just and true are your ways,
King of the nations.
Who will not fear you, Lord,
and bring glory to your name?
For you alone are Holy.
All nations will come and worship before you!
CONFESSION & LAMENT
Father, you tell us in your Word
that whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.
We confess that we have often relaxed our faith.
We have allowed ourselves to become cynical.
Our cynicism turned into
Slander, criticism, prayerlessness, and pessimism.
We confess that we crumple under the stresses of our lives.
Forgive us for our smallness of faith.
Help our unbelief.
ASSURANCE OF GOSPEL PEACE
Glory be to God!
He has not abandoned us!
Glory be to God!
Death is conquered and sin is no more!
Glory be to God!
He has paid the price for eternal life!
Glory be to God!
He calls us children and we lack nothing!
Glory be to God!
