Call to Worship

God of all peace, we worship you!

You speak the world into order and our lives into being!

Father, you alone can sort us out and make us whole.

Forever at peace with yourself, you invite us into your presence.

Lord, we bring our whole hearts and our whole selves.

You are our rock and mighty refuge ―

We come now to worship you!

Confession and Lament

Lord, for so long we have been at war.

When faced with your will, we have responded in rebellion.

When faced with our neighbors, we have made false divisions.

When faced with our hearts, we have tried to deny what is true.

Who will come and make us whole?

Who can rescue us from this conflict?

Who will tune our hearts to make music again?

Assurance of Gospel Peace

Truly my soul finds rest in God;

My salvation comes from him!

Truly he is my rock and salvation;

He is my fortress, I will never be shaken!

Christ is our rock, our mighty refuge.

Power belongs to you, God,

With you is unfailing love!
