Come and make a joyful noise!
Let us praise God with devoted hearts!

We make room in our hearts for him,
And join all of creation in his praise!

Come, receive your king with gladness!
Confession and Lament
Christ Jesus, we wait for you expectantly ―
But we often become discouraged or distracted.
Help us trust that your arrival is certain.
We often lose steam, lose hope, lose sight of You.
Our hearts become weary and forgetful.
Would you overcome our sin, our disappointments, our wounds.
Come, restore our hope in you!
Assurance of Gospel Peace
Our eyes have seen your salvation,
That you have given in the sight of all people!
It has revealed your light to those who did not belong,
It is the glory of those who are made your family!
None who hope in you will be put to shame!
No matter how long the wait,
Your arrival is sure, and the whole world will see it!
