Call to Worship

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!

How unsearchable his judgments,

and his paths beyond tracing out!

“Who has known the mind of the Lord?

Or who has been his counselor?”

“Who has ever given to God,

that God should repay them?”

For from him and through him and for him are all things.

To him be the glory forever! Amen.

Confession and Lament

Have mercy on us, O God,

because of your unfailing love.

Because of your great compassion,

blot out the stain of our sins!

For I recognize my rebellion;

it haunts me day and night.

Purify us from our sins, and we will be clean;

Restore to us the joy of our salvation!

Assurance of Gospel Peace

He took our pain and bore our suffering;

He was pierced for our sins!

He came to us and gave us hope;

Died for us and paid the price,

Rose again to prove it was enough!

Amen! By his wounds we have been healed!
