Call to Worship:

Praise be to God, for his ways are perfect!

Every word of our Lord proves true. 

Our God is a shield for all who take refuge in him. 

From generation to generation,

Our God is faithful to his promises.

Praise be to God!

He is worthy to be praised! 

Confession and Lament:

Lord, we live and walk in a culture that often feels so far from you.

It is easy to let conflicting opinions

Confuse our hearts of what is true. 

Help us to remember that your word is truth. 

We can often feel the need to defend our own pride,

Failing to see the limits in our understanding. 

Help us to remember we cannot save ourselves. 

Only you, Jesus, can restore our souls. 

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Our God made a way for salvation; by grace, through faith.

Jesus has paid our debt of sin in full; 

The work is finished!

In him, we are forgiven and set free from the power of sin.

The old has gone, and the new has come.

We rejoice in your salvation!
