Call to Worship:

His love is abundant and never ends!

His justice frees those in bondage!

Let us sing and rejoice!

The Lord God creates new life in us,

He brings us together in harmony and love!

Let us sing and rejoice!

We come together as one to praise

And call out to our God who hears!

Let us sing and rejoice!

Confession and Lament

So much in life can overtake us:

Fear of the future, shame from the past, or apathy in the present.

Lord, show us your character and remind us that we belong to you.

You are steadfast and your love endures through it all.

When we are discouraged by those who misrepresent you, or even if we are the ones who do so, may the world see the truth instead.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

Our God is merciful and gracious,

Slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love!

Even in our rebellion, he showed his mercy

Lord, we rejoice in the redemption you offer us! 

You have turned our mourning in dancing,

And have filled our hearts with your Spirit.

Lord, we rejoice in the work you have done,

and what you will continue to do!
