Scripture Reading: Genesis 37-39 

Call to Worship:

Praise the Lord for his great love toward us!

Make his faithfulness known through all generations

We lift our hands in worship,

Because his unfailing love will last forever; 

His love is better than life!

Confession and Lament:

We often choose to act selfishly;

We are short-sighted and destructive,

But you redeem our failings with your mercy. 

We don’t see your hand in our troubles,

And sometimes we react poorly.

Give us eyes to see your redemption.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

No matter how much we’ve been hurt

We are valued by you!

Or how much we have hurt others

We are forgiven by you!

Jesus became human to show us 

The heart of the Father and to reconcile us.

His love transforms us and shows us a better way!
