Scripture Reading: 2 Cor. 9

Call to Worship:

Holy God, we come to worship You with joy!

Only You are worthy of our praise!

You are so generous, God. 

You provide everything we need!

You give us all good things, freely and abundantly!

In You, we lack nothing.

In You, we lack nothing!

Confession and Lament

Lord, sometimes we withhold our gifts:

Time, talents, resources, and finances as if they are truly our own.

Every gift is from You, God. 

Teach us how to give well.

We can easily ignore opportunities for generosity, 

Or give what we believe is just “enough” out of obligation.

God help us give generously and cheerfully. 

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

Jesus gave us the greatest gift: His resurrection. 

He was crucified, raised to life again.

Now, he is preparing a place for us by His side.

Thank You, Lord for your grace and mercy!

Jesus gave us a way out of the darkness and into the light. 

Our future is certain and secure!

In Jesus, we lack nothing!
