God, we magnify Your name as we gather,

Because You are a good God, who loves His people.

You are a God who protects, provides, and intervenes!

We recognize Your hand in our lives and in the lives of others.

You will never stop being good and just, because it’s your character!

We praise You, God, because of what You have done and will do!

Lord, at times we let fear keep us from trusting Your goodness.

We foolishly try to control every detail of our lives,

Hoping that we will find peace and fulfillment.

Spirit, remind us that Christ fulfills our every need.

In other times, we seek You in every way except Scripture.

Lord, where else can we go?:

You have the words of eternal life.

Spirit, help us to hide the Word in our hearts.

We have been given grace upon grace!

Every need we have, God can and will supply.

Salvation and hope are ours to claim!

Though this life be filled with suffering and sadness, we are not left alone.

We do not have to wander with no direction.

God gave us the Spirit to guide and strengthen us.

So, we can walk boldly every day!
