Call to Worship:

God, you delight in the worship of your people

You have established for your church to sing praises together.

Let us boldly lift our voices to You!

We are blessed to be in your presence

You put a new song on our lips and in our hearts.

Let us boldly lift our voices to You!

Confession and Lament:

Lord, forgive us. We often forget that we were dead in our sin.

We live our lives as though we are the champions of our own story,

We live as if there was no battle to be won.

But you are our champion, Lord. 

You have fought our biggest fight for us. 

Help us surrender every day to you.

Assurance of Gospel Peace:

God has blessed those who fear him―

Every good and perfect gift comes from him!

He has given us his good and perfect son!

Even now he blesses us as we walk in the light;

Even now he is with us, giving us abundant life!

He fills our hearts with joy;

And we share our joy with the world!
